Mount Longonot National Park

Ascent towards the crater.
The park has been a really pleasant surprise for both of us. Indeed, we very much enjoyed the site and the trek we did there.
Why? Simply because the place was very pretty and the walk hard and long enough to be a good activity. Well, the problem with a trip with our own vehicle is that we are not always active when we are in the van. With just a backpack, one has to at least carry its equipment from the bus stations to the hotels...
This park protects a superb crater intact on its entire periphery. The trek takes around 90 minutes to go up and about 2-3 hours to walk around the crater itself... An enjoyable walk!
