Mida Creek is an eco-tourism site managed by the community. The site protects a mangrove. This type of ecosystem is characterized by trees that have their roots flooded at high tides and dry during low tides. These trees have adapted to living in very salty environment.

Mangroves generally have a rich biodiversity, especially regarding birds and many less visible critters in the sea.
