African Penguins

April 29, 2014  —  South Africa
Stony Point - South Africa

At Stony Point, near the village of Betty's Bay, a huge colony of African Penguins can be observed. They can be seen strolling around, swimming, fighting, and even taking care of some younglings.

This place is much more pleasant than the colony near Simonstown located south of Cape Town. This latter place is visited by tour operators and is quite crowded. At Stony Point, there are few people and almost never any tours.

Here are several photos of these charming creatures.
