Waterberg Plateau

The Waterberg Plateau is a curious rock formation in the middle of a pain. It is a sandstone plateau 50 km long by 16 km large. The plateau is divided in several parts such as a park and a private ranch called 'Waterberg Wilderness'.

Waterberg Wilderness
Several private ranches in Namibia have been converted to lodges and campsites since they are more profitable than cattle farms. In the Waterberg Wilderness, we stayed at a camping where we had a private bathroom and also a swimming pool reserved for campers.
There are interesting trails around the campsite.

The park is also very nice, but the camping is less interesting. However, the trails are great.
