The Brandberg Mountains are famous for its numerous rock paintings. As for the rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, these paintings could have been done by the San people some centuries ago.
The site is known for the painting of the 'white lady'. However, the scientists don't agree on whether the drawing is a man or a woman. As you see on photo, it is not easy to determine the gender.

In addition to seeing magnificent paintings, this small trek in the mountains offers superb landscapes. We also saw a lot of lizards.

The small trek of a few kilometres to reach the paintings was splendid. In addition to seeing the 'white lady' site, we went to four other sites with some nice paintings.
